A:We´re running out of time.(시간이 없습니다.)

B:Take it easy.You don’t have to worry about it.(진정하세요. 걱정하실 필요 없습니다.)

A:We have nothing but ten minutes available.Can you finish this in ten minutes? (이제 겨우 10분 밖에 없어요.10분안에 마칠 수 있어요?)

B:It’s a piece of cake.(식은 죽 먹기죠.)

A:Give me a call immediately after you finish this.(마치면 바로 전화해요.)

B:Okay,I will.See you in ten minutes.(알았어요.10분 있다 만나요.)

▶ a piece of cake : 식은 죽 먹기. 원래는 케이크 한 조각 먹기라는 의미로, 그 정도로 쉽다는 것을 의미한다. 우리 말에 누워서 떡먹기 등과 같은 맥락이다.The exam was a piece of cake.(시험은 완전히 누워서 떡 먹기였다.)

▶ run out of∼:∼가 바닥나다. 다 떨어져 가다.We ran out of gas on the way to Seoul.(서울 가는 길에 기름이 바닥났다.)

▶ give someone a call:∼에게 전화를 하다. 그냥 call someone과 마찬가지. Please give me a call in the afternoon.(오후에 전화해주세요.)
