A:What happened to your new car?(새로 산 차가 왜 이래요?)

B:I turned the wrong way down a one way street.(길을 잘못 들어가서 일방통행 길로 들어섰거든요.)

A:Oh,no.(에고, 세상에.)

B:I scraped the side of the car really badly.(차 옆을 심하게 긁었어요.)

A:Are you okay now? (지금 괜찮아요?)

B:Yes,I am okay.Thanks.I should have been more careful.(괜찮아요. 고마워요. 좀 더 조심했어야 하는 건데.)

▶ a one way street:일방통행로.There is a one way street.So we cannot turn in.(일방통행이라 들어갈 수 없어요.)

▶ scrape:긁다. 스치며 나가다.There is something scraping against the window.(무언가 창문에 스치는 것이 있다.)

▶ should have + 과거분사:∼했어야 하는 건데. 과거 일에 대한 후회 등을 나타낼 때 사용하는 구문이다.You should have studied harder.(더 열심히 공부했어야지.)
